 +=====Export Notes=====
 +Users may notice there is sometimes a discrepancy between the number of rows shown on the website versus what is actually exported. This is caused by the export working to remove any repeaters that operate in modes that are not supported by the radio, such as all digital modes. Exports are also limited to the number of memory channels available in the VX-7, which is 900.
 +===== Tips and Tricks =====
 +
 +Import the data into CHIRP and then massage the data there as a master file. For example, CHIRP defaults to setting the power to the L1. I'll go line by line and change the power to my preferred settings. Once that is all squared away, I will save an image of the configuration. That image can be used to create settings for any other radio you own that is supported by CHIRP. With that procedure, you are well on your way to programming all of your radio as similarly as possible.
 +
 +If you would also like to use the VX-7 Commander software, save your work as a *.img file and then as a file as a *.vx7 file. Open the *.vx7 file with VX-7 Commander.
