+ | The Repeater Group List was intended by ICOM for use with Digital D-Star repeaters. In the D-Star worlds, two repeaters on the same band will not utilize the same call sign without some sort of suffix (identifier). When importing analog repeaters from RepeaterBook into the Digital Repeater List and two repeaters on the same band have the same callsign, it will display an error. Each duplicate call sign will have a caution flag next to it. You must manually add a suffix identifier to each call sign. You can ignore the error, and the software will delete the duplicate call signs, which might be acceptable for your needs. RepeaterBook recommends adding a single or two-digit number to the duplicate call signs. D-Star repeaters add a letter. S-Star suffix codes area automatically added in the RepeaterBook export. | ||
