EchoLink® software allows licensed Amateur Radio stations to communicate with one another over the Internet, using streaming-audio technology. The program allows worldwide connections to be made between stations, or from computer to station.

Repeaters that are hosted (-r) or linked (-l) to an EchoLink node can be listed on RepeaterBook by both the node number and the node call sign. When viewing the details page associated with a repeater on RepeaterBook with EchoLink capability, information about the node status is displayed as well. This data is scraped from EchoLink Link Status page every 15 minutes.
