The weather talk is boring and uninformative. I can get a more detailed report on my cell phone in 2 seconds any time of the day or night. It just ties up the frequency for more usefull uses. But then again most of the tech talk is at a 6th grade education. Just my opinion which probably means nothing to the sad ham world. You won't hear me often on the radio. I don't fit in well with the "Peyton Place" mentality which pushes away potential new HAMs.
