This repeater is operated by the University of TN Amateur Radio Club (UTARC) and is open for use by all hams. AA4UT is a low power machine that serves mostly the UTK campus and surrounding downtown Knoxville area. Static links are as follows: TS1 TG 314742 is connect to the Smoky Mountain Amateur Radio Club (SMARC) repeater system which includes DMR repeater KK4XA and analog repeater W4OLB (146.655 ). TS2 TG 3147 is connected to the TN Statewide talkgroup and provides coverage for the entire state. Timeslot # 1 is also available for dynamic use PTT talkgroups at any time and will revert back to talk group 314742 after approximately 10-15 minutes of non-use. ALL HAMS ARE INVITED TO USE OUR REPEATER FOR BOTH STATEWIDE CONNECTIVITY AS WELL AS LOCAL ACTIVITY.
