Southern Delmarva Peninsula/ Virginia Eastern Shore. Waterborne craft on the Chesapeake Bay may find coverage in an area bound on the western edge of nearly the entire Virginia Eastern shoreline section, extending southward from the Maryland border to approximately Kiptopeke, Virginia. Coverage extends across the bay to inland bay front Virginia, from the mouth of the Potomac River near Sunnybank, Virginia, southward to the intersection of Mobjack Bay and Chesapeake Bay near New Point, Virginia. Atlantic Ocean waterborne craft could find coverage in a semicircular shape along the shoreline of the Virginia Eastern Shore starting just south of Wallops island, Virginia, extending southward to approximately Kiptopeke, Virginia. Maximum distance from the shoreline for coverage out over the Atlantic is approximately 5 miles, occurring due east of Hog Island, Virginia. |
