  • 6-pin mini DIN RS232 to USB cable.
  • OTG cable (usually USB C to USB A (female).

These cables are commonly available on Amazon and other sources.

  • The 6-pin mini DIN cable connects to the PC port on the back of the radio.

  • "Allow RepeaterBook to access FT232 USB UART?"

Kenwood D710 (Left 2m, Right 70cm)

This option will tune 2-meter repeaters to the left side of the radio and 70-centimeter repeaters to the right side. The bands on the left and right sides must be set to: Left side: 2 meters Right side: 70 centimeters before using the app. Pressing the [F] key and the left or right buttons on the bottom left of the bezel will cycle through the bands.

Kenwood D710 (Right Manual Band Set)

The app can only tune repeaters in the same band active on the radio. For example: The radio must have the 2-meter band selected to transfer 2-meter repeaters. 70-centimeter repeaters can only be transferred if the 70-centimeter band is selected on the radio.
