Elm St between 14th and 15th Ave N is closed (Fargo). Storm sewer pump stations are beginning to operate (Fargo). At 19.0 feet, Low-level dam south of Main Ave is closed (Fargo). * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 20.0 feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. (2 of 2) ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota... The river is forecast to crest this afternoon near 15 feet, however levels are expected to remain steady in minor flood stage over the coming days due to additional rain and storm chances through the weekend. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 900 AM CDT Thursday, the stage was 14.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 900 AM CDT Thursday was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.9 feet this afternoon. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 14.9 feet on 10/11/2017.
